Stay Connected...
The Association of Rice Alumni
The Association of Rice Alumni provides many opportunities to stay involved whether through volunteer opportunities such as serving on a committee or joining a special interest group, attending seminars, or traveling with groups of fellow owls.
The Engineering Alumni
The Rice Engineering Alumni (REA), formed in 1938 and is the oldest alumni organization at Rice, is dedicated to providing support to the George R. Brown School of Engineering.
The Corporate Affiliates Program
You can also encourage your company to become a member of the department's Corporate Affiliates Program which provides members facutly-direct technical exchange of the department's cutting-edge research as well as direct access to our high caliber recruits.
Giving to the Department
Supporting Rice, and particularly the Computer Science Department, is a way to complete the cycle of opportunity that began with your education at Rice. While Rice provides the department with an adequate budget, we lack the discretionary funds that allow us to respond to unexpected research and educational opportunities that inevitably arise. The Association of Rice Alumni (look in "Make a Gift") and you can designate your gift to the "Computer Science Endowment" (established in 2000 by Moshe Y. Vardi and his wife Pam Geyer) to specifically support our department.
